Welcome to the Star Hampshire Home Page. On this web site you can learn about the Star Hampshire Traditional Music & Dance Weekend, including the dates, registration information, staff callers and musicians, and much more.
The Star Hampshire Traditional Music & Dance Weekend is an annual weekend celebrating our New England traditions of lively fiddle tunes and country dance.
We are fortunate to be carrying on a living tradition: one that preserves the best of the old, but is constantly changing. Our traditions have been influenced by a wide variety of people who have come to live here: Canadians, both English and French; Irish, Scottish, Scandinavians and others.
These influences contribute to the rich program of the Weekend. Here are some of the highlights of this outstanding weekend of music and dance.
